Carlos arrived at the Christine Lynn Rehab Center on September 8th and immediately got to work. He has attacked physical and occupational therapy sessions multiple times a day, six days a week. Carlos has made great strides with his mobility and strength and has continuously surprised his therapists with his gains and continued determination. Carlos will be transitioning to outpatient in the next week and has decided to remain in Miami to continue his rehab program as well as begin trials with the Miami Project, which is cutting-edge, world-renowned research facility. Carlos has his first assessment with the Miami Project on October 13th. We have rented a house that Carlos will live in with his family as he goes through rehab and the Miami Project. He looks forward to continuing to defy odds and progress every day. He is being supported and cheered on in Miami by his large, fiercely loyal family, along with close friends.
